Lucid ("we", "our", "the app") is a dream journal for iOS. Your privacy matters — we collect the minimum data needed to provide the service and never sell your information.
Only when you explicitly request an AI reflection or dream art, the selected dream's title, text, mood, type, and detected symbols are sent through our server-side proxy to OpenAI. The proxy does not persist prompts or generated responses. OpenAI processes the request under its own privacy and retention policies. Your name, email, Apple ID, and other journal entries are not included.
The app does not include any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking pixels. We do not track your behavior or build user profiles.
Your journal is stored locally on your device. You can permanently delete dream entries, cached artwork, and local usage counters from Settings > Delete All Dream Data. Deleting app data does not cancel an App Store subscription; subscriptions are managed separately by Apple.
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted in app updates.
